Hi, I recently tore apart a 307 take out of a '70 Chevelle. My understanding is that this engine should have a 9:1 compression ratio in stock form. What I found was flat pistons with 4 small valve relief’s and 3927185 cylinder heads (70 cc). I believe the heads were original to the engine and the engine original to the car.
